My 10 year old has been through at least a dozen water bottles the last few years and he says this is his favorite so yet! Once we narrowed it down the squeeze type bottles we tried several different brands but all seemed to either leak or be some somewhat difficult for him to use cleanly. He says he doesn't have either problem with this one and it keeps his water cold. He's been taking it to school for about a month now and it's holding up great. I also like that the lid pieces easily come apart and back together for cleaning. The only issue I have with the bottle is that it has a slight wobble when placed on a flat surface, but I haven't heard any complaints about that.
If you’re looking for great insulation and cold water in very hot climates, this is your bottle. I’ve tried Polar and Camelbak insulated water bottles and those won’t keep water cold for long, especially in the hot/humid climate of Puerto Rico, but these bottles kept their cool. If you care about looks, the bottles look nice and sleek… until you put them in a water bottle cage. These things scratch so easily it’s almost impossible to not get them all scratched up (see pics). If you have a metal cage, that’s even worse! The materials used on the exterior of the bottles need a serious upgrade. -2 stars for the scratching issue (they look that bad). Otherwise, one of the best insulated water bottles at keeping water cold. A bit of new materials searching (scratch free material) and this would be a 100% winner.
This is a solid, comfortable-to-hold water bottle. I like the locking feature for the nozzle so that it doesn't leak. Great for sports in general, aside from it's recommended use in biking.
I bought a bunch of these years ago when they were first on Shark Tank. The appeal was the harder shell and the fact that I could unscrew the top AND the bottom. My fault for not reading the description thoroughly but this plastic seems so flimsy and the bottom doesn’t come off. It reminds me of free water bottles that are handed out at street festivals or something. I’ll probably never use it unfortunately.
I was really disappointed when I realized you could not unscrew the base and will probably return to Amazon. I can still use my old bottles. Why would they change the design when that was the primary reason a lot of us bought the bottles in the first place. I'll keep a lookout to see if they go back to screw on bottom. I do like the look of the new bottle and the nozzle but not enough to keep it. Plenty of other less expensive bottles that work the same way.
